Yay! It's about time, right?
Anyway, because of my own silliness (stupidly accidentally ordered two hard copies. Not sure how that happened.), I have the opportunity to give away one of Ysolda Teague's Whimisical Little Knits 2 books, SIGNED by the author/designer.
(sorry for the lack of a decent photo. Stupid nighttime)
So. The rules are, leave a comment on this post by Tuesday December 8th at midnight (Eastern time U.S., or GMT -5.00. Ok, I'm not good at figuring this stuff out. Just leave a comment by the end of your Tuesday, wherever you are), and I'll use the magical random number generator thingy to choose a winner.
If you don't win, and you don't already have a copy of her book you should go here and buy one, or order one from a Ravelry download thingamajig. She's an amazing designer, and an independent, and we should support the heck out of her!
Plus, you know, she looks cute when dressed as a dog.
The Tea Cozy
Here's the very sexy Noro that I bought for the tea cozy(ies) that I'll be knitting soon.
Shade 163 (top) and Shade 147 (bottom) Again. Sorry for the craptacular photos. Taken at night. I gotta work on this camera situation. It blows. The colors are much sexier than this. I promise.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah! Are you feeling the sexiness? (well, ok maybe not. The are going to be tea cozies after all... but but but, NORO!)
Hello, just leaving a teeny tiny comment here :)
ReplyDeleteHi, a printed and signed copy would be a nice addition to my pdfs I got already.
ReplyDeleteBest Claudia
I saw Ysolda's tweet about the giveaway. Thought I'd throw my hat in the ring. I'm planning on buying WLK2 after the holidays (if I don't get it before then).
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I have her first book, also signed, and I love it.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'd love a copy of WLK2!
ReplyDeleteI have her first book (is it signed? must go and look ...) and the pdf of WLK2 but the hardcopy does look cute ...
ReplyDeleteComment!! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh boy oh boy oh boy, I have been drooling over this and would be thrilled to knit every single piece in it!
ReplyDeletePick me, Pick me!!
Ooh - gotta try for this one! Ysolda rules!
ReplyDeleteooooo! I really really want a copy! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful turn of events! I wake up, and voila! The internets offer me a happy opportunity. And a Ysolda book to boot. It must be Christmas.
ReplyDelete*clasps hands, excited jig*
Well, Ysolda tweeted and here I am. You have to be in it to win it you know. Actually, I'm just waiting to have a space in my WIPs to cast on a new project, then I shall invest in all the Ysolda books (currently two, but by the time I get there, who knows!).
ReplyDeleteIt cried "Take me home! Take me home!"
ReplyDeleteWell, nothing ventured, nothing gained...I'd love to have a shot at Ysolda's book! Thanks for the chance!

ReplyDeleteI have the first copy signed; that'd be awesome to have the 2nd one too!
ReplyDeleteI downloaded the first book and I just adore it!
ReplyDeleteYsolda's pattern are fantastically gorgeous, I'd love her book (and so would everyone who I knit Ysolda knits for as gifts!)
ReplyDeleteHehe...awesome. I've been meaning to pick up a hard copy, but am being good and waiting to see how the holidays treat my wallet.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the book! Ysolda's designs are fantabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove Ysolda's designs! Saw her tweet and thought I'd drop by to leave one in hopes of winning. :D
ReplyDeleteAnother knitter who saw Ysolda's tweet. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Noro tea cozies are definitely sexy.
Wow -- what a wonderful giveaway! I love her Ysolda's patterns and would love to be considered :) thanks!
ReplyDeleteoooh I've been wanting this!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's great of you to give it away on your blog instead of selling it! Much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteWhew! I almost couldn't type because the sexiness of that Noro made me woozy, but then I remembered Ysolda's awesome book and a cooler head prevailed. What an awesome giveaway! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou rock for the WLK2 give away!!! I'd love to get it and share it with a friend! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteSo this is how you get comments on a blog! Give away free stuff! *makes note*
ReplyDeleteI have the PDFs but would totally dig a hard copy of WLK2, so sign me up!:)
I would love a copy of that book !
ReplyDeletewell, i have both books, signed, and the pdf's, but i would love to be able to gift my niece with one of her hard copy books(NOT letting go of mine, lol.) a hard copy of this amazing scottish designer is a win, and signed? win-win AND heaven! said niece shoved me back into knitting so i think it would make a perfect christmas gift. we love her designs, though as i am a fairly new...ok, returned...knitter, i am slow so i have several of her projects on the needles(mainly cause they are amazing and wearable.) since i live in the the gulf coast south, it is unlikely i shall ever meet her in person, but i try to keep track of her travels...no, i promise, i am not stalking her, but i am enthralled by her designs.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome of you. I'd love a copy...I have a few downloads but have to wait until Spring for a hard copy purchase.
ReplyDeleteI would absolutely LOVE a copy. I've been having to wait to purchase mine and I'm just dying to get my hands on it.
ReplyDeleteIt is very cool that you are giving this away. :-)
I'd love a copy - I've downloaded only one pattern from the book so far! So many great options, though!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors of the Noro! (That was my "comment"!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about ordering two- when Isolda came out with the first pattern I immediately ordered it without reading about the "complete" book option with the pattern releases. I felt really stupid since I wanted all the patterns.
ReplyDeleteHere's a chance:)
Thanks.

ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I'd love to throw my hat into the ring.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be in the drawing, please!
ReplyDeleteYea!! I love this give away!! May I please be in the drawing?? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI would *love* a copy of the book - I'm just 25 rows up my third Damson, and I'd really like to see all the other patterns, but I can't afford to buy it.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I'm in the UK. But if that would be OK, I'd still like to enter the draw!
Count me in - I had some pdfs, but no hard copy :)
ReplyDeleteOoh a signed copy! I'd love one to accompany my PDF collection :)
ReplyDeleteAdd me in, too, please. I'm knitting my first Ysolda pattern now, Damson, for a Christmas gift. It's a brilliantly simple pattern and I'd love to have more of her work.
ReplyDeleteI would jump up and down squeeling for joy if I were to receive a signed copy of her book:)
ReplyDeleteI actually got my picture taken with her at Rhinebeck in her costume and didn't know it was her.lol Hugs Darcy

ReplyDeleteSexy Noro teacovers! Oo la la. And I <3 Ysolda's stuff. One of these days I'll get around to, you know, making one instead of pondering yarn choices.
