The Second Sweater

The sweater that I forgot about yesterday (even though I had it knocking around somewheres in my little brain) was Ingenue by Wendy Bernard. She blogs over at Knit & Tonic (love the name of her blog!). Here's a pic, courtesy of her project page on Ravelry. It's from her book Custom Knits.

I like the Audrey Hepburn-esque look of this sweater. I haven't decided what yarn I want to use for this one, so if anybody has any suggestions, I'm open!

  1. This one is beautiful too! When I come to think of it I have never knitted a sweater - only jackets and vests... You are so right, birds looks different from spring to winter. And maybe even more here in my country where the winter is white for many months. I have just now got the answer in a comment - it is a siskin :-) Happy weekend to you!

  2. That is cute - I would imagine it would be hard to find a yarn it wouldn't look good in.

  3. I like the collar of this sweater but I'm not sure if I'm nuts about the length of the sleeves (that style seems to make me look boxy). I think the sweater itself would look very luxurious in white or cream.

  4. Very cute sweater. I like the 3/4 length sleeves. I so wish I could knit. Trust me I have tried and it didn't work out.
