This is my 300th post. YAY!
OK, enough celebration. I need to write quickly so I can get back to the insanity knitting.
Ok, baby project number one, completed. I literally just took it off the needles and sewed on the button. Desperately needles blocking, but I'm not sure I have the time. Maybe I'll just tell the recipient to machine wash it.
Pattern: Snug (my project page)
Yarn: Patons Shetland Chunky, Highlands Variegated colorway, 1.5 skeins
Needles: US 10 - 6mm
I started on the Hap Blanket last night and am about halfway through the center section. Maybe, just maybe I'll get this done by Saturday. Maybe. The yarn is drapey and soft, and it's not too bad to knit with even if it is cotton.
Ok, back to the insanity.
Tonight we see the Nutcracker. I am starting to sweat thinking about all the lost knitting time...
Congratulations! The baby sweater is lovely. I like the color choice for the Hap Blanket. I loved knitting with KnitPicks Comfy (worsted in my case) but was a little dissapointed, that it pilled a lot. But it's so soft and cuddly. I hope you'll get it done!
ReplyDeleteThat baby sweater is just adorable! Best of luck finishing up by Saturday.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays! :)
stop blogging and get back to the insanity! have a great christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love the baby sweater. It looks like something that was peeled right off a tree. Very natural, very Lord of the Rings. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I hope you finished on time!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas. I am glad I found you and your blog this year. :)
