All Rivery was it.

Moose Rivery, that is. I knitted one:

Pattern: Moose River by Stephen West
Yarn: Briar Rose Fibers - Charity
Needle: US 8 - 5mm

It's unblocked as of right now, but that hasn't stopped Bruce from wearing it. Also, this color is not representative of what it looks like for reals. It's a lot greener.I'll get some action shots after I've blocked it.

The pattern has got reversible cables, which I'd never knitted before, and they're genius. I love them. Also, the pattern is incredibly well written, and really sexy.

The title of the post was inspired by this lovely short film of Joyce & Beckett playing golf (warning, contains a lot of language. Foul and filthy. It's brilliant):

I'm also knitting an Avebury shawl by Kristen Kapur. I just happened to have the exact yarn in the exact quantity that she called for in the pattern, and I've had it for a while and have been debating what to do with it, so, it called to me, and knitting it I am. Simple, elegant, and the yarn (Alchemy Silk Purse) is DIVINE.

  1. It is, indeed, fecund in its nuttiness!

  3. Heheheheh....bruce leaving you trash talk that you had to take off???? hahahahahaha!!!! So happy to see you back posting! How are ya? Miss you! Hopee your life is still "knittingly" sweet.....yeah, I know, that's not even a word, but you know me!!
Hunker down...looks like you may have a cold weekend...

  4. I'm so excited that you are doing a Kapur pattern. I am like her biggest fan! I want to hear every detail!

  5. An occupational therapist assistant has a yearly pay check of $69,000. However, a certified occupational therapist earns more. A medical support assistant is paid $39,000 every year while a nursing assistant receives $31,000.
