It's all in the wrist.

Which, unfortunately is the case at the moment.

This, my friends, is what hurts:

Too much knitting and typing I suspect. I'll be laying off for a bit on both. Sigh.

The following, however, does not hurt at all. Although once again, I'm amazed that Beezer can actually sleep in this position for a long period of time:

(note the curled toes)

Anyway, I started my Clapotis. The magic has not happened yet, but I expect it too as soon as I'm able to get back to it. I also started a design for Eternity Mittens which will match the Eternity Scarf I made for Meredith. I contacted the designer of the Eternity Scarf, Michele Wang, and she was lovely about the entire thing. So. I shall be releasing it as a pattern at some point in the near future.

  1. Sorry about the wrist. I've been having that in the wrist, elbow and shoulder from the Christmas knitting.

My cats all sleep like that. Amazing isn't it?

  2. So sorry about the wrist. I live in fear of such an injury! What would I do with my time if could neither knit nor type? I might have to actually clean!

  3. So so sorry about your wrist! I feel your pain- I've actually made the decision to not clean houses anymore- its too hard on my wrists and I'd much rather take a paycut than have to give up knitting!

    Hope you feel better soon!

  6. Ooh, sorry you're in pain. Hope you heal quick! And that is Reilly's favorite sleeping position as well - minus the curled toes. heh

  8. Oh, I hope your wrist pain recovers soon! Sometimes I wish we were more like cats - I bet they never wake up with sore necks, backs, or shoulders because they slept on something funny.
